Engineering Sustainability

We have the objective of helping disseminate more sustainable ways of life in all possible contexts: in countries industrialized, emerging or developing, and in rural as well as urban areas.  We are strongly committed to bringing about a more sustainable economy, government and society.

As an engineering consulting firm, we understand the notion of 'sustainability' as ensuring the highest possible level of comfort with the lowest possible impact on the environment, through the sustainable design of living spaces – from individual buildings to whole constructed areas – including energy efficiency and carbon assessments as well as renewable energy generation whenever possible. We provide these services to various actors ranging from service companies to industries and local governments.

Despite these matters having become increasingly publicized and advocated in recent times, we do not just intend to follow a trend. We work to explore new paths of development, away from the destructive patterns that have been defining our civilization for more than a century; we want to be agents of real, verifiable change.

We believe the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, the preservation of natural resources and the overall lessening of our ecological footprint can all be sought through relevant market-based solutions, balancing environmental, social and economic advantages. By carrying out ongoing research, in a fully independent and objective spirit, we intend to discover, demonstrate and propone the most technologically valid of these solutions.
